Everybody knows youtube.com, the famous website to broadcas videos. But do you know that if you have an account, you can do more than post videos ?

There is a system to create a user community with mail, group, friends connexion. You can create your social networks and exchange videos mails and contents. You can create a filter to choose who can see your videos or not, this is a way for a professional utility.

WCM and collaboratif labour

This year for the first time i create a blog an use a content manager to publishing my posts and personalize my space. These tools are very usefull for people who aren't aware about web technical language.

Moreover they allowed collaboratif labour because with their systeme of messages and coments everybody can participated at creation of a real interessant topic.

But we can also just used as a personnal board.

Imrpove class with projects

The first thing possible to progress is given some help on gramma, conjugaison and vocabulary connected to articles on blogs.

In a second time, may be we can do project in group. Each group are componed whith student who have different level. It will improve these ones who have more difficulties.

The first probleme on internet for business is how to pay. Lot of people were afraid to use their credit card. They thought that bad guy can use their password and stole thein money.

One of the most important problem on web is security.

As anybody can access on this technological tool and we aren't equal on knowledge about it, there is possibility to be trapped.

The most dangerous is when is about money but cybercrime is a biger notion.

For exemple someone who download illegal mp3 are a criminal but he doesn't take money or hurt somebody.

An exemple about money is problem of bank website. You receive a mail from your bank, there is a link to there homepage, you log but en fact this isn't homepage this is a fake which are graphicly the same. So this one who send you the mail can have your loggin and your password.

Youtube or Itube ?

Today on internet who doesn't know youtube.com ?? It's a very fun website based on users broadcasting.

Each people can upload videos on this place and these one can be consult by everybody. It's a good way to store videos and brocast them.

This is an exemple of what you can find on youtube website.

I think youtube isn't good as possible, it can be better. I explain,

First, everybody can see videos and i'm not sure that users always want it.
Second, there are too many personnal videos to credibilize professional uses.
Thirthly, copyrights aren't respected. In lot of videos, there are extracts or musics which are protected by laws.

Personnaly i use youtube just to consult contents, i never upload videos. I prefer use my own systeme because i want control access and be sure about the company which save videos.

DRM

DRM, Digital Rights Management, is a system to control acces of medias. This is a kind of code which allow or not users to consult a video or audio document.

This is a way to protect autor's rights and confident stuffs. But you need to use the right media player, often microsoft media player and for access you have to let personnal information. It's because DRM has to verify your right to use contents. I'm not agree with that, this player isn't good and i want have a real choice.

This particularity is a kind of jail for creation an diffusion. I think that nobody is able to decide what is free or not on internet. This a way to get hacking higher.

Changes on web uses

On web, there is quick modification of habits and uses. This place is a catalyser for social modification and new uses.

I think that the last six months show that firmes start understanding than they can make money in using free habits of user communauty.

Podcasting

After blogmania, it's podcastmania.

A podcast is a kind of radio where the publisher broadcasts audio or video stuffs. Visitors and auditors choose what subject they want to consult.

The most important thing is that a podcast updates itself for auditors. They have to subscribe at the podcast and computer download automaticly news.
